BENEFITS DIRECT · POLICIES & ACCESS

Accessibility

Benefits Direct is committed to equal access and effective communication for people with disabilities. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our technical accessibility target and continue to review and improve the site.

Accessible features

The site includes skip navigation, semantic page landmarks and headings, labeled inputs, visible keyboard focus, error and status text, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support and text alternatives for meaningful images. Links and controls can be operated with a keyboard. You can use your browser’s zoom and preferred assistive technology.

Get assistance or report a barrier

Contact info@benefitsdirect.org or (614) 420-2418 for help using the site, a live review, language assistance or information in an alternative format. Tell us the page or tool involved, the task you were trying to complete, and your preferred way for us to respond. You do not need to disclose disability details. We will work with you on an accessible alternative without requiring use of an inaccessible form.

Ongoing accessibility review

Our target is not a certification that every feature meets every ADA or WCAG requirement. Third-party shopping, enrollment, government and social services are operated separately. Contact us if you encounter a barrier on a linked service so we can help you obtain information another way. Automated checks alone do not establish legal compliance; keyboard, screen-reader, zoom and third-party workflow reviews remain part of ongoing maintenance.

See the Department of Justice guidance on web accessibility. We aim to provide assistance without discrimination and offer reasonable accommodations for access to our services.
