Licensing and geographic availability

Insurance services are offered only where the assisting producer holds the required current license and carrier appointment or other authorization. Product availability varies by state, county, insurer and service area. Contact us to confirm the license details and authority of the producer serving your location. A nationwide website or external shopping link does not establish authority to transact insurance in every state. Verify Ohio producer information through the Ohio Department of Insurance or your state’s insurance department.

Health coverage and enrollment

ACA coverage and financial help depend on Marketplace eligibility, household circumstances and applicable rules. Estimates may change after verification; advance premium tax credits may be subject to tax reconciliation. Marketplace assistance requires separate documented consumer consent and review of application accuracy before submission. Clicking a quote link is not that authorization.

Supplemental, hospital indemnity, accident, critical illness, dental, vision, life, final expense and long-term care products differ from comprehensive major medical coverage. They may have exclusions, waiting periods, underwriting or limited benefits. Hospital indemnity and other fixed-benefit products are not substitutes for comprehensive health insurance. ICHRA eligibility, affordability and premium tax credit interactions require an individual review.

The Medicare comparison links on this site go directly to Medicare.gov. They do not present an agency-specific Medicare plan inventory. Any agency plan recommendation must be based on the plans the licensed agent is authorized to offer in your service area; ask for that agent’s current plan representation disclosure before discussing specific benefits.

Compensation, affiliates and third parties

Benefits Direct may receive insurer commissions or other permitted compensation when coverage is placed. Compensation, available appointments and any separately agreed fees can affect the range of options presented; ask your agent for details before proceeding.
